Company Shows Appreciation to Support Driver Force
MOKENA, IL--(December 8, 2010) - United Road Towing, the industry leader in towing, impound management, vehicle disposal, and motorist assistance solutions, recently supported "National Truck Driver Appreciation Week" by sponsoring multiple events nationwide at it's facilities to honor their team of over 600 drivers.
Founded by the American Trucking Association and held annually in September "National Truck Driver Appreciation Week" is an opportunity to thank the everyday heroes who service URT's customer base daily and perform their duties no matter what the time of day or weather may be 365 days a year. URT has participated in this event the past several years and annually sponsors numerous activities to thank those who make it happen day in and day out. This years activities included catered breakfast buffets, barbeque lunches and dinners cooked and served by the management team and afternoon ice cream treats served by driver supervisors at locations throughout the country. URT senior management spent the week thanking the drivers personally for piloting their trucks through congested freeways, perilous weather conditions and dealing with difficult situations day in and day out.
URT has always taken pride in its professional driver force that performs over 500,000 tows annually, safely and damage free. URT drivers regularly work in dangerous situations in speeding traffic road side and deal with everything from the stranded motorist to the most severe recovery and accident scenarios while responding to requests from customers and law enforcement nationwide."
