2010 Tow Trucks For Tots
E&R Towing gets involved in a unique program to help those in need

This year's parade went off without a hitch. Unlike last year's balmy temperature it was colder and with a little wind, not as comfortable. The parade of trucks led by the IL State Police Motorcycles left from Rockdale at 9AM and proceeded to Toyota Park in Bridgeview with the first truck arriving around 10AM. This year there was a total of about 265 tow trucks, many thanks to the volunteers, drivers and their families for taking the time out of their busy schedules to help this worthy cause.
We would also like to say THANK YOU to the many people who were kind enough to help by donating gifts to help with this cause. Without the many gifts donated we would not be able to put a smile on as many faces as we are able to. His year we were able to fill four large dump trucks full of presents.
Last year after our parade we made a special run to Elkhart IN with some presents for the families in that area. Elkhart had one of the highest unemployment rates in the country last year, this year we are happy to report that the Indiana towing association has started their own Tow truck for tots parade.
This year we have joined forces with the Wisconsin Tow association, on December 11th 2010 we will make special run to Janesville WI. With the closing of two major plants in Janesville there are many families in need in that area.
Once again THANK YOU for your support. It may be a long shot but one of our ultimate goals is to have every towing association across the nation have their very own Tow Trucks for Tots Parade.
