Quality Towing Participates in Charity Touch-A-Truck Event
Quality Towing supports Family to Family Organization at local event

LAS VEGAS, NV - Quality Towing was pleased to participate in the 9th annual Las Vegas Touch-A-Truck event which benefits the Family to Family organization. The event was held at the same place as last year; The Orleans Hotel and Casino. Just as the goal has been in the past, it was the same with this year as many kids (and adults) were able to get up close and personal with many big rigs. Fire trucks, police vehicles construction vehicles, many others and, of course, tow trucks.
This event was held on March 23rd from 8:30 am til 2:00 pm. We had 3 trucks on display (1 Heavy, 1 flatbed, and QES ) with Randy Grew, Eric Roberts, and Barry LiMarzi manning their trucks. They were all set to go when the doors opened for the first hour having kids with special needs go first. This was great to have them come by and see the big white truck with purple flame designs. They had a great time climbing in and out of the trucks and there were plenty of smiles to go around. The rest of the day was pretty much the same as the kids found it exciting being around these trucks as well as climbing inside and giving a tug or two on the horn of our heavy truck. The kids had a "blast" doing this and so did a few adults.
This year, just like in past years, NLVFD had a demonstration using their heavy equipment on 2 vehicles. The demos were how they would possibly rescue someone who may be trapped in a car. The cars were donated by us and the North Las Vegas Fire Dept. was very appreciative of our efforts. Some of the firefighters from the North Las Vegas Fire were some of the same who participated in the bus training back in early March of 2009. They were happy we were there as well as giving them some cars to tear up.
Quality Towing was proud to be one of the participants this year along with several other companies, fire departments, police agencies, and others. We were happy to make a monetary donation as well as donate our time. I believe next year will be bigger and better than ever.
